I recently partnered with Goodness Manufacturing to design and develop this hilarious microsite for Pearl Izumi. The site allows users to genetically engineer a ‘Little Runner’ using a Flash based DNA application. The results are then displayed as custom created ultrasound videos. The site extends into social networks allowing users to share their videos with friends.

Google’s Superbowl Ad

While I’m not a football fan and rarely watch games on TV, I am interested in the Superbowl as a TV event. To that end, the halftime show and the ads are always the most interesting part for me. Yesterdays Superbowl featured the usual mix of highly produced, high-budget ads though the one standout was Google’s first ever TV commercial. The spot does an amazing job of conveying an emotional story (one that touched me in a personal way) using nothing but the product itself to illustrate it… and it cost them nothing to produce.

The 2 Headed Chef
