Google’s Superbowl Ad

While I’m not a football fan and rarely watch games on TV, I am interested in the Superbowl as a TV event. To that end, the halftime show and the ads are always the most interesting part for me. Yesterdays Superbowl featured the usual mix of highly produced, high-budget ads though the one standout was Google’s first ever TV commercial. The spot does an amazing job of conveying an emotional story (one that touched me in a personal way) using nothing but the product itself to illustrate it… and it cost them nothing to produce.
